Many of our guests want to have meals prepared so they can really relax and enjoy their holiday. Especially on Saturday arrival night and Sunday. Most people go for our Les Caulins BBQ for the Saturday so they can just relax after a swim and a drink, enjoying some lovely food & local wine on the terrace Al Fresco.
Emma loves cooking and can pretty much cook anything but as we are in France it is nice to experience real French food with Emma’s touches. The dishes we offer change continuously and are inspired by the very seasonal local ingredients. If you have booked a holiday with us and wish to see a menu please get in touch. If you would like a BBQ or meal ready for you on the Saturday you arrive or our “Lazy Sunday Lunch” then let us know.

Lazy Sunday Lunch
French Sunday lunches are celebrated for the way people take their time to enjoy multiple courses of food accompanied by good wine and good conversation. We start 4-6 pm, depending on the time of year, with aperitifs and canapés. Then Oysters if you like them followed by a delightful sharing platter of regional food and all the best ingredients available and in season. Or we can start with Fruits de Mers. We often go for a stroll up the hill and to the vineyard for a great view. Back to the table we enjoy a creation from Emma or something roasted in the wood burning oven. Cheese follows and a typical local dessert. Do not expect roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.

Half day cooking lessons
When we are not letting our house we operate a cookery school. Emma teaches people how easy a dinner party can be, tips and tricks of the trade and some wonderful menu ideas that you can impress your friends with when you get back home. While you are here on holiday Emma offers half day lessons, cooking dishes in the morning or afternoon that you can have for dinner that evening or 2 desserts; one for the evening and then another ready for you to put in the oven for another day.
