Spring has arrived, bringing with it an exciting array of seasonal produce. We are currently in the prime of the white and green asparagus season, along with the delightful sweetness of apricots. This region is renowned for its exquisite duck dishes, and now is the perfect time to indulge in the fresh shellfish offerings, including delightful Fruits de Mers and beautifully sourced prawns. Embrace the flavors of the season!

DAY 1 Friday Get ready for an amazing stay! We’ll pick you up at Bergerac Airport and take a scenic 30-minute drive to our lovely home, “Les Caulins.” Once you arrive, we’ll give you a quick tour, and then it’s time to kick off your shoes, relax, and enjoy a drink as you settle in. Join us at 7 PM for some delightful aperitifs, tasty canapés, and a four-course dinner featuring wonderful local wines. Can’t wait to see you!

A visit to Ste Foy market to get some wonderful fresh ingredients, especially oysters and have a stroll around and a coffee in one of the cafés. Back to the house for lunch and ready for some cooking in the afternoon.

What’s not included?
Please note that flights are not included in the package. If you would like to hire a car, it’s not necessary as we will provide transportation throughout the weekend. Our location is conveniently situated 35 minutes from Bergerac Airport and 80 to 100 minutes from Bordeaux.
Travelling from Bordeaux to our location is quite straightforward. The new tram system, which is located just outside the airport terminal, offers a direct route to Bordeaux’s central train station. From there, you can catch a direct train on the Bergerac-Sarlat-la-Canéda line, alighting at Ste Foy la Grande. We would be pleased to pick you up from the station, which is just a 15-minute drive north of our location.
